Margot Larson

Margot Larson is the founder and principal of Management Alternative, a coaching and consulting practice. Prior to founding Management Alternative, LLC in 1990, Margot held several Human Resource related positions. In 2004, Margot formed KardasLarson, LLC a Human Resource Consulting firm providing onsite HR expertise as well as compensation, recruitment and training. Margot is a writer and the author of Jump Start Your Life.  Margot has served as a Board Member and past President of the HR Leadership Association of Eastern CT, the HR Association of Central CT and The Connecticut Women in Health Care Management.  In 2007, Margot is one of only seven people to receive a Lifetime Award recognition from HRACC for her contribution to the organization and her profession.  Margot participated as a coordinator and board member in a Cancer Awareness project “Jan’s House of Hope”, building a dream house on a barge that traveled to seven ports of call along the east coast in 2001, including Branford CT to support Connecticut Hospice.  Since her two and a half year battle with lung cancer, Margot has adjusted her career to focus her time and energy on coaching, writing, maintaining her health and enjoying life.
